About Fox’s Bicycle Repair
Fox’s Bicycle Repair is owned and operated by Jeremy Fox. If you were to ask me about myself, I would tell you I am first of all a husband and a father. But the responsibility to serve and provide for my family has led me to other great passions. My main career is working as a paramedic, taking care of the sick and injured in the back of an ambulance. I am a passionate educator in the EMS industry and enjoy any opportunity to study or to teach others. This career, intertwined with tragedy, illness, and injuries, has brought me back to bicycle repair as both an outlet and an opportunity to work alongside my children as they develop their life skills.
Days away from the ambulance, you will find me immersed in the smell of Triflow and bicycle rubber, while holding my favorite 5mm hex wrench, and enjoying the sound of ratcheting bicycle gears. While I will work on nearly any bike, I am particularly fond of mountain bikes and suspension repair, rebuilding internal gear hubs, or doing a complete overhaul on a tired, grimy commuting bike. The latest trend of ebikes has surfaced a new interest of mine in doing electronic diagnostics and repairs.
But it can’t be all work and no play. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors with my family. I enjoy gardening, hunting, fishing, or camping in God’s beautiful creation or working with the animals on our hobby farm, nestled in the rolling hills of rural Perry County.
[ HISTORY ]A winding road from sirens to pedals and wrenches.
Fox’s Bicycle Repair was built on a lifelong connection to bikes, community, and service. The foundation of this business is rooted in hands-on knowledge, quality workmanship, and a genuine love for spending time in the outdoors.
After nearly 10 years in the bicycle industry as a mechanic and shop manager, I stepped away to pursue a career that could better support my family and found a calling in healthcare as a paramedic. It’s a career I truly love, but one that also comes with its share of stress—working daily alongside trauma, sickness, and pain can take a toll.
Looking for a positive outlet and a way to spend meaningful time with my children, I found myself drawn back to bicycles. I wanted to build something part-time that could teach my kids the value of hard work, problem-solving, and serving others—while also reconnecting with something grounded in health, movement, and the outdoors. Before long, I was once again fixing bikes for friends and family.
In February 2025, Fox’s Bicycle Repair officially opened with a simple goal of getting people on bikes by offering a convenient and reliable bike shop experience. Based out of Perry County, we’re a fully mobile bicycle repair service, bringing the bike shop directly to your home in a fully equipped service van.
Fox’s Bicycle Repair is locally owned and operated, and we believe in honest work, clear communication, and treating every bike like it’s our own. Whether you’re a mountain biker, a weekend rider, or a family with bikes that need attention, our goal is to make bike repair easy, approachable, and stress-freeso you can get back to enjoying the ride.
